Come one come all! This Thursday, October 20^th, credit unions all around the world will be joining together to show their support for the United Nations’ Year of Cooperatives in 2012. This program was created to help increase awareness about cooperative organizations within communities around the world. Here at GTFCU/ACU, we strive to maintain the “people-helping-people” philosophy and so it is important for us to unite our members with other cooperative institutions, from Austin all the way to France! The credit union community is constantly growing, as there are over 54,000 credit unions serving 186 million people in 97 countries!
