Who can join?
Persons who live, work, worship or attend school in, and do business in and other legal entities located in Bryan-College Station, Bastrop, East or Central Travis County, Central Hidalgo County, Central Harris County, portions of Tarrant and Dallas County areas, Northwest and Southeast San Antonio, South Travis County and Hays County.
Once you become a member, your immediate family members and household are automatically eligible to join Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union.
(a)"Immediate family" is defined as a grandparent, parent, spouse, sibling, child, or grandchild. For the purposes of this definition, immediate family member includes adopted children, step-parents, step-children, and step-siblings.
(b)"Household" is defined as persons living in the same residence and who maintain a single economic unit. This includes any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of the household, including family members, domestic partners, foster children, and legal guardian relationships. While roommates in a single residence would meet this definition, a fraternity, sorority, or nursing home is excluded from this definition.
Two forms of identification are required to become a member.
One of these: Valid Driver License or Passport, Military, School or Texas ID, State Employee's Badge, Police or DPS Sheriff Badge,
Employer Picture ID, State/Government Issued Picture ID (eg: Handgun License).
One of these: Social Security Card, Medicare/Medicaid Card (with social security number shown), Federal Tax ID Number, Second
Picture ID (see first list).
