How to Update Your Username:
- Contact us to speak with one of our representatives. Call the Credit Union at (800) 749-9732 or visit us in branch to request a new username
- Choose a username that meets these secure guidelines:
- Length: 10-20 characters
- Must include: letters*, numbers, and special characters
*Uppercase letters will automatically convert to lowercase.
Official Rules – Cybersecurity Awareness Month Promotion
Summary:
These Official Rules set forth the terms and conditions wherein Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union (referred to as “credit union”) will award two SimpliSafe 8-Piece Whole Home Security System sets during the Promotion Period, which starts October 1, 2024, and ends October 31, 2024. Prizes will be awarded via random drawing from all eligible entrants, to occur at the end of the Promotion Period. Eligible credit union members will be automatically entered upon successfully updating their digital banking username to meet the established username requirements during the Promotion Period.
Eligibility:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
This promotion is open only to primary account holders of Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union with existing Digital Banking account who are at least eighteen years of age.
Employees and officials of Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union and any of its affiliated or subsidiary companies, and the immediate family members or other members of any such employee's or official's household, are not eligible to participate.
Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union reserves the right to verify that the winner’s account is in good standing at the time of the drawing.
Promotion Period:
The Promotion Period begins October 1, 2024 at 12:00 a.m. (CDT) and ends October 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (CDT).
Prize Drawing and Notification:
The winners will be chosen by random selection on November 5, 2024, from all eligible entries. Winners will be notified by telephone and email. To obtain the names of the winners, send your request and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union, 12544 Riata Vista Circle, Austin, TX 78727, Attn: Marketing – Cybersecurity Awareness Month Promotion.
Entry Methods:
Eligible members who update their digital banking username to meet the established username requirements between October 1, 2024, and October 31, 2024, will be automatically entered into the drawing.
Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union assumes no responsibility for any error, problem, or malfunction (human, technical, or otherwise) which may occur in the creation, maintenance, or processing of Giveaway entries or which prevents entries from being created.
Selection of Winners:
Winners will be determined by random drawing of eligible entries conducted at the credit union’s headquarters located at 12544 Riata Vista Circle in Austin, Texas. Final determination of the winners will be made by a Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union official, whose decision is final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries during the promotion period, and each entry has an equal chance of winning.
Winners need not be present to win. The winners will be notified by email and telephone. The prize will be awarded at a Greater Texas|Aggieland branch location, and the winners may be asked to participate in a prize presentation and photo shoot. If the winner lives more than twenty-five (25) miles from the nearest branch, reasonable alternative arrangements will be made.
Prize:
One SimpliSafe 8-Piece Whole Home Security System set will be awarded to each of the two selected winners.
No prize substitution or cash equivalent of the prize. No prize transfer.
For a selected entry to be declared a winner, the individual must satisfy all of the requirements listed in these Official Rules. If a winning individual does not affirmatively accept their prize within ten (10) calendar days of notification by signing an affidavit of eligibility and a letter of receipt, an alternate entrant will be selected at random from all other eligible entries received.
General Conditions:
All national, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations apply. All taxes (including income taxes) are the sole responsibility of the winner. Non-compliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected. Return of prize will result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected. Any person attempting to defraud or tamper with this drawing in any way will be ineligible for the prize and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
The winner agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union, whose decisions are final.
The winner must complete, execute, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and where lawful, a Publicity Release within ten (10) days of notification. Failure to return documents timely, or if prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if the winner is found not to be eligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, disqualification may result, and an alternate winner may be selected.
The winner grants to Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use the winner's full name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, and biographical information for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes without additional consideration and without notice, approval, or review.
Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds tampering with the entry process, violating the Official Rules, or acting in an improper or disruptive manner.
Disclaimers:
Participants agree that Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union and its employees and officials shall not be liable for losses or injuries resulting from participation in the contest or acceptance of the prize. Greater Texas|Aggieland Credit Union reserves the right to modify the rules or cancel the contest if technical failures or other factors impair the contest’s integrity.
All issues concerning the Official Rules and participant obligations shall be governed by the laws of Texas, and all proceedings shall take place in Texas.
