Online Banking

Online Banking  makes accessing your account quick and easy from any computer or smart phone. Our online banking brings you the most recent advances in banking technology.

Our online banking has many features such as mobile banking, personalizing your account, scheduling account transfers, setting up account alerts, making bank to bank transfers, sending secure messages to the credit union, view your pending payments, and so much more.

Online banking is a requirement for use of all of our electronic services.


How to Sign Up for Online Banking:

  1. If you are not signed up for online banking or GTCall, complete the registration form and fax or mail to your local branch.
  2. Once the form is received Member Services will set up your 8 digit pin#, then you can sign-in online.
  3. Click on the red Login button at top of CU homepage.
  4. Click on online banking enrollment under the blue sign-on button.
  5. Enter your account number in the user name field, your 8 digit pin#, and the random code. Click Next
  6. Read and agree to the disclosure, Choose and answer your indemnification questions, Choose a SITE KEY key, Enter your email address.
  7. Click Finalize

You are now registered for online banking!


Electronic Statements

Electronic Statements, or Estatements are more secure than regular mail, and it makes keeping track of them easy because they are all in one place!

Estatements, protect your financial information and your identity. All account statements are viewed online in online banking. Once signed up you’ll receive an email letting you know your statement is ready to view online. You can view your statement whenever you need. Your Electronic Statement looks just like your paper statement and you can view up to 3 months of statements online.


How to Sign Up for Electronic Statements:

  1. Log-in to Online Banking
  2. Click on top tab titled Options Drop down menu Select Member Info
  3. Put email address in Email Address spot
  4. Click Change Email button to save
  5. Tab Estatements
  6. Read and Agree to disclosure
  7. Click Submit

You are now signed up for E-statements!


Account Alerts

Account Alerts allow you to receive notification of specified events or conditions occurring to your account. Account Alerts make keeping up with account balances easy! Alerts can be received via email or text message, or both.

Various account alerts can be set up for share accounts, loan accounts, transactions, checks, certificate maturing, and reminders. An alert for a share account (any type S account) can be set up if the balance is below, above, or equals a certain amount. An alert for a loan account (any type L account) can be set up if the available balance, loan payoff, payment amount, is below, above, or equals a certain amount. An alert can also be set up if the interest rate is below, above, or equals a certain rate. And if the payment is overdue, or when a payment is due within so many days of the payment due date.

Transaction alerts can be set up on any account type. These include being notified when a deposit, withdrawal, a transaction contains a specific description, or when a transaction is above, below, or equals a certain amount. You can also be notified when a checks clear or when a certificate is getting ready to mature. Personalized reminders can also be set up to be received via email or text message.


How to Sign Up for Account Alerts:

  1. Log-in to Online Banking
  2. Click on top tab titled Accounts
  3. Drop down menu Select Account Alerts
  4. Click on “Click here to add new alerts or reminders”
  5. Select Category where you want an alert – Checking, Loan, etc.
  6. Select Account for which you want an Alert
  7. Click Continue
  8. Adjust Alert Me, Conditions, Amount, Notify Me and Notification Method
  9. Confirm Alert
  10. Click Submit

You are now signed up for Account Alerts!


Online Account Transfers

With Online Account Transfers (available to members passed the 30 day trial period), you can transfer both to and from accounts at other financial institutions (once the external account is set up), save time by not having to drive around town or mail your deposits, and make payments from your credit union checking or savings to your credit union loan account.

There is no fee to transfer money to your Greater Texas account from another financial institution.
There is a minimal fee of $3 to transfer money from your Greater Texas account to another financial institution.

 

How to use Online Account Transfers:

  1. Use Online Account Transfers to Transfers Funds Online:
  2. Log-in to Online Banking
  3. Click on top tab titled Accounts
  4. Select Transfer preference
  5. (Example: from one account to another, from one member to another, from one financial institution to another)
  6. Set-up Transfer
  7. Account From, Account to, How often, when, how much, Memo
  8. Double check transfer information
  9. Click Confirm Transfer button

You are now signed up for an Account Transfer!
